(ii) The Project Steering Committee

Members of the Committee include: ODINAFRICA Regional Coordinators and Project Manager, Head of UNESCO/IOC's Project Office for IODE, Chairs of the two IOC Regional Committees for Central and Eastern Atlantic (IOCEA) and the Western Indian Ocean (IOCWIO), and the IOC Vice Chair for Region V which includes Africa. 

Mika Odido is the IODE Regional Activities Coordinator, and ODINAFRICA Project Manager
Desiderius CP Masalu is the ODINAFRICA Regional Coordinator for the Agulhas Somali Current LME region (Comoros, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Seychelles, South Africa and Tanzania). He is also be responsible for development of Portals and Websites.
Anja Kreiner is the ODINAFRICA Regional Coordinator for the Benguela Current LME region (Angola, Namibia and South Africa). She is also be responsible for development of Communication Tools.
Arame Ndiaye Keita is the ODINAFRICA Regional Coordinator for the Canary Current region (Mauritania and Senegal). She is also responsible for development of Information Services, including literature catalogues and repositories.
Angora Aman is the ODINAFRICA Regional Coordinator for the Guinea Current LME region (Benin, Cameroon, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, DR Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Nigeria, Togo). He is also responsible for development of Mapping, Forecasts and Scenarios.
Malika Belhassen-Abid is the ODINAFRICA Regional Coordinator for the Mediterranean Sea region (Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia). She is also responsible for development of Data Services, including catalogues and archives.
Peter Pissierssens is the IODE Programme Coordinator
Julius Wellens Mensah is the Chair of IOC's Regional Committee for Central and Eastern Atlantic
Mohamudally Beebeejaun is the Chair of IOC's Regional Committee for the Western Indian Ocean
Cherif Sammari is the IOC Vice Chair
